It seems the friendly folks over at the
LHC project have smartened up in an attempt to not repeat the error that plagued the collider last year. Now, when you click on the "Shutdown" link off the
homepage, you are asked for a username and password. Thankfully they are using SSL so that not just anyone can shut the thing off anymore.
Bring on the black holes.
